Nchedo ties nuptial knots with Nchekwube



THE joy of the families of former Miss Nchedochukwu Udoye and Mr Nchekwube Ezeabiubu knew no bounds as they were joined together in holy matrimony at St Peter’s Anglican Parish, Abacha, in Idemili North Council Area of Anambra State.

  Preaching a sermon during the event, the vicar of the church, Rev Anthony Ikechukwu, enjoined the couple to build the foundation of their marriage in God.

  He noted that the couple had been counseled on married life and expected them to tolerate each other having come from different background.

 While describing marriage as a blessing from God unto His followers, he urged the couple to allow Jesus Christ to take preeminence in all they undertake to make the union a successful one.

  “If you don’t have Christ in your marriage, you have crisis. Jesus Christ as the head of your home will tackle every challenge, just trust Him to rule in your home,” Rev Ikechukwu said.

 The chairman on the occasion, Emeka Okelo, a former President General of Abacha Town Union charged the newly wedded couple to love each other with unity of purpose to overcome marital challenges. He prayed for God’s blessings and guidance to enable them enjoy their marriage.

 The bride groom, Mr. Nchekwube, a Lagos based transporter from Ubuma Village, Abacha expressed gratitude to God for granting him his missing rib.
