Igboanugo laid to rest in Okija

THE remains of late Foster Chinenyengozi Igboanugo, popularly known as  Obiakueze, has been laid to rest in his country home, Umuogu-Uhuowelle Okija, Ihiala Local Government Area, Anambra State.

  In an interview with National light reporters, the brother to the deceased, Kane Igboanugo described him as a very kind person. He said, “my late brother was good and kind, we cooperated very well when he was alive.

   According to him, “I’m still shocked that he left at such an unripe age and I promise to do his wishes concerning his family”. He also prayed to god to grant him eternal rest.

  Mrs Irene Onyeje, sister to the deceased, described his late brother as a very simple person. “My brother was a simple man; we did not have any problem with him. I don’t know when I will recover from the shock of his demise. I pray that the merciful God grant his soul a perfect rest”.

  The deceased’s daughter, Miss Chiamaka Chinenyengozi  said, “my father was good to us as his children and I wish him farewell to the journey of life eternal”.

 The deceased’s first son, Valentine Igboanugo, thanked God for a successful burial ceremony of their late father and prayed to God to bless their benefactors and benefactresses who stood by them in their time of sorrow.

  While paying his condolence to the Igboanugo family, the MD/CEO, Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation, Sir  Chuka Nnabuife described the late Igboanugo as a man who was diligent to work while in service.

  He further stated that the deceased was always forthright and also carried out his journalistic profession without bias or care about whose ox is gored.

  He prayed God to comfort the bereaved, while urging them to take solace in his life well spent.
