Tyson Fury, Wilder not big names – AJ

NIGERIAN born Brit boxer, Anthony Joshua spoke tough by saying Tyson Fury his heavyweight rival ‘should be looking to retire soon’.

  IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight champion, Joshua and WBC holder, Fury agreed to financial terms for two fights in 2021. But first Joshua, must defend his belts against mandatory challenger, Pulev, while Fury, 32, will fight Deontay Wilder for a third time. ‘Fury has been professional much longer than me.

  He should be looking to retire soon,’ Joshua told Sky Sports. ‘If he wants to cement his legacy, I’m here and ready. I’ve built myself into this position.’ Joshua did not stop there he also claimed that Fury is not the ‘biggest name’ on his record and is ‘just another heavyweight’.

  Fury is widely considered one of Britain’s best-ever boxers, winning 30 of his 31 professional fights and defeating Wilder in emphatic style after returning to the sport following a three-year absence. Joshua said: ‘I’ll challenge Fury, I’ll challenge Wilder.

  These guys aren’t the biggest names that I’ve fought on my record anyway. They are just another heavyweight. ‘Look at my record.
