We’ll leave Anambra with better investment facilities – Obiano



GOV. Willie Obiano has said that he would leave Anambra State in a finer fettle for investment and socio-economic development in which succeeding administrations may have no reason to fail.

  The governor gave the  assurance while presenting a 240-page book co-authored by Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) Uche Nworah and a journalist, Emeka Arinze and eight others, under the title: ‘Governor Willie Obiano, Seven Years of Delivering Good Governance in Anambra State, 2014 – 2021’ at Prof. Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, Awka, yesterday.

  Crediting his successes to visions and roadmaps inspiring his administration’s flagship blueprint, which is the four pillars and their eight enablers, Gov. Obiano explained that religious adherence to the manifesto by his team – to whom he dedicated the book – deserves to be emulated by those who may succeed them.

   Restating that his eyes are still on the ball in order to finish even stronger than he began, Gov. Obiano also expressed optimism that he will hand over to someone that will not only key into institutional foundations already laid by him, but may also surpass his records..

  Gov. Obiano further explained that setting forth at dawn as a cardinal principle in their affairs not only delivered the success in all sectors of the economy being celebrated at home and abroad by ndi Anambra but the feat stands out because it was achieved even though his administration passed through two recessions and managed still stayed afloat

  According to him, some of these irreversible achievements of his administration were products of cutting edge policies, which the governor said, include the choose-your-project initiative that seamlessly transformed all the 181 communities in Anambra State that benefitted in its two phases.

  Gov. Obiano used the event to promise that the third phase of the programme will be completed before he finishes his tenure.

  Also while highlighting other achievements of Gov. Obiano in various sectors of the economy, Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment,  Anambra State,  C. Don Adinuba urged the people to continue supporting the present administration.

  University dons, royal fathers, top government functionaries among others graced the occasion.
