Asha Nnabuife gives out daughter in marriage



Notable people and  political stalwarts both from Anambra and Abia States were at Nkpor, last weekend as the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Anambra State Chapter Chairman and Idemili North Transition Chairman, Chief Ralph Asha Nnabuife gave out his first daughter in marriage.

 Family, friends and well-wishers who came to felicitate with the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) chieftain were pouring out blessings upon the newly wedded couple- Miss Deborah Ifeyinwa  with her heartthrob, Mr. Timothy Ikechukwu Ihekoronye from the families of Asha Nnabuife, Nkpor, Anambra State and Pastor David Ihekoronye, Olokoro Umuahia, Abia State respectively, praying God to bless them with peace, understanding and fruitfulness.

  The dignitaries who graced the occasion include APGA BOT member, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka, Ogilisi Igbo, Commissioner for Trade, Commerce and Wealth Creation, Uchenna Okafor, APGA Chairman Idemili North and PG Uke, Chuks Igboanua, Ezeoba Uke, PG Ogidi, High Chief Jideofor Onubogu, Ife Idemili. After eulogizing the achievements of Asha Nnabuife and Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, they urged the couple to respect and love each other as a panacea to the vicissitudes of marriage.

 According to the bride’s father, Nnabuife,” I love my daughter so much but God and nature made it that at certain point in life, a woman locates her husband. I love the young man, Timothy who is now my son because he is a good person irrespective of the distance and culture of his community. So long as he is the person that will live with my daughter happily, I do not mind his status, background or where he came from”.

  In his vote of thanks, Mr and Mrs Timothy Ihekoronye, who found love at Lagos, thanked everyone who was part of making their wedding cum traditional marriage ceremony a success, asking God to bless every person and Grant them journey mercies.
