Pa Nwosu goes home, Saturday

THE remains of the late Mr Simon Nwosu, popularly known as  Osai-Igwe of Obuluzo Mkputu Village, Owerre-Ezukala, Orumba South LGA of Anambra State will on Saturday be laid  to rest.

  The late Mr Nwosu,96, during his earthly soujorn lived a life of service to humanity and placed a mark in the hearts of those that came in contact with him.

According to a statement jointly signed by the Vice President General, Owerre Ezukala Development Union, Mr Okechukwu Nwosu, SA to Govenor Obiano on Basic Education, Basil Nwosu and Rev Fr Ekene Nwosu, a wake keep would take place at his compound in Owerre-Ezukalla, tomorrow, while his  body will  leave Immaculate Heart Hospital Mortuary, Umunze, to his home in Owerre-Ezukalla at 7:00am on Saturday for lying in state in his compound , after which a Requiem Mass will be  held at St. Patricks Catholic Church, Owerre-Ezukalla by 10:00am, followed by interment.

They further disclosed that all rites of funeral would take place at his compound on the same day, even as a Thanksgiving Mass will take place at St. Patricks Catholic Church Owerre-Ezukalla. On Sunday.
