Court restrains Okeke from parading as officer of APGA, conducting primary election

AN ORDER of Interim Injunction has been granted by Justice Joe Egwu of Delta State High Court, Orerokpe Judicial Division restraining Chief Jude Okeke and his gang from parading themselves as members of National Working Committee of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and from further interfering or taking part in the process of nominating the candidate of APGA for the November 6, 2021 gubernatorial election.

  The court equally restrained them from organising any primary election on behalf of APGA and from submitting any name of candidate whatsoever to INEC.

  Recall that prior to APGA’s primary election, duly monitored by INEC, which produced Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo as its candidate for Anambra State Gubernatorial Election of November 6, 2021, the duo of Chief Njoku and Chief Okeke were laying claims to the leadership in a sponsored effort to create crisis in the party.

  Their false claims and propaganda pushed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) into issuing clarifications on the matter insisting that “APGA has no faction” as the names of the authentic Chairman and Secretary can be found in the INEC website.
