Osodieme sues for higher morals among women

WIFE of Governor of Anambra State and founder, Caring Family Enhancement Initiative (CAFÉ), Dr. Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano, has called on Anambra women to go for higher morals in both their private and public endeavours.

Mrs. Obiano made the call in a speech delivered on her behalf by Special Assistant to Gov. Willie Obiano on Special Duties, Mrs. Amaka Ezeike in church service to mark the 16th Aguata Diocesan Women’s Conference held at St. Peter’s Church, Ezinifite, Aguata Local Government Area.

Urging women to remain resilient in the fight for safe and morally sound society, the governor’s wife described strong morals as the bedrock of every stable, happy family for which women should always signify.

Speaking further, Dr. Obiano, who asked the women to always take note of the theme of the just-concluded 2021 Mothers’ Summit: “Fighting gender-based violence in a COVID-19 World,” reminded them that her charity organisation remained resilient in protecting women, especially the poor and vulnerable.

In her remarks, Wife of Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Mrs. Chinyere Ezeofor said that the conference had provided women an avenue to renew their commitment to God, by adopting the theme of the event in prayers and character.

Earlier in a sermon, Bishop Samuel Ezeofor said that God’s call to serve was an opportunity for a new beginning that must be embraced for its unconditional benefits.
