Edward Obiefuna Ibuzo, the lawmaker representing Onitsha-North Two State Constituency in the 7th legislature of Anambra state has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is certainly not an option for any Igbo man in Nigeria.

Ibuzo said that the current socio-economic realities in the country under the APC-led federal government has done more harm than good to the citizenry especially Ndigbo whom he said were the worst hit.

The lawmaker, who is currently serving his second term in the state assembly said the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has done exceedingly well for Ndi-Anambra and that he really wanted a situation APGA will take over Imo, Abia and other southeast states.

He therefore called on all and sundry to join APGA because he believes that APGA will retain power come November 6, 2021.

On his rumoured defection to APC, Ibuzo disclosed that  even if APC offered him one million dollars, he will not leave APGA, stressing that he is APGA and to APGA he belongs.

He said, ” When I travelled abroad I heard some rumour that I cross-carpeted to APC. I laughed over it for some reasons. Major reason is that I have my values. I have my principles. I am a devote christian.

” I want to state categorically that APC from what we are seeing now in Nigeria is not an option for any Igbo man to say he is going into except he wants to shy away from the truth. “
