Obiano, APGA leaders strategise for November 6 election

CHAIRMAN of Board of Trustees, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Willie Obiano has tasked party members to work towards delivering the party in the forthcoming November 6 governorship election in Anambra State.

  Giving  the charge during a meeting with the party executives at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia, Governor Obiano appreciated party members for the support given to him throughout his time in office, stressing  that the race is not an individual race but a party and  survival race which requires mobilisation of votes for the party .

  The governor called  for the cooperation of all even as he promised to fulfill all the promises he made.

  Wife of the governor, Dr. Ebelechukwu Obiano expressed confidence in the ability of APGA members at the grassroots, stating that the coming election is a defining moment in the life of ndi Anambra, and called for unity.

  She pointed out that the party leadership is interested in someone who will consolidate on what the governor has achieved and advised them to embark on massive mobilisation for Professor Soludo’s candidacy. 

  APGA gubernatorial flag bearer in the November 6 gubernatorial election, Professor Chukwuma Soludo maintained that the grassroots belong to APGA and urged the party executives to get prepared as the campaign may go beyond the usual house to house mobilisation.

  State Executive Council members, House of Assembly members, the APGA Deputy Governorship candidate, Dr. Onyeka Ibezim, among others were present in the meeting.
