Anambra election: Ihiala APGA assures Soludo of resounding victory



THE meeting of APGA faithful of Ihiala extraction held on Sunday, in Awka, showed that Ihiala Local Government Area is fully prepared and ready to deliver maximum votes for the APGA candidate, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo come November 6, 2021.

   The meeting, which featured a wide range of discussions and strategies, had all the ward chairmen, stakeholders and local government party executives in attendance. It was a gathering for Professor Soludo.

  At the meeting, the Campaign Chairman, Ihiala Local Government Area for APGA November 6 Governorship Election for Soludo and the lawmaker, representing Ihiala 2 State Constituency in the 7th legislature,. Paschal Agbodike said APGA members, party stakeholders and government appointees from Ihiala assembled to brainstorm on how best to elect Professor Soludo to succeed Governor Willie Obiano.

   Agbodike said a lot of people were desperate to succeed Governor Willie Obiano but according to him, ndi Anambra have made it clear who their choice is, in the person of Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo.

  He said Ihiala as a leading local government area in Anambra State, had keyed in to deliver the APGA governorshhip candidate and no other person. That the meeting was convened to enable them restrategise and call for peace so that ndi Anambra will elect a good man peacefully to pilot the affairs of the state.

   According to him, the November 6 governorship election should be a peaceful transition from APGA government to another APGA government devoid of confusion and rancour as he believes very strongly that ndi Anambra were waiting earnestly for the day Prof. Soludo will be sworn-in as the next governor of Anambra State.

  Agbodike, who also doubles as the deputy speaker of the 7th legislature, noted that the governorship election must be conducted, while calling on the federal government to listen to the yearnings of the Igbo man in Nigeria and appealed to every onye Anambra to be a peacemaker and not a troublemaker.

  Agbodike was also confident that if Professor Soludo becomes the next governor, he will solve infrastructural problems in Ihiala Local Government Area and deliver good governance in general, stressing that nothing like promise and fail exist in APGA manifesto.

  He said no APGA government has ever promised and failed; that no APGA governor has been a failure in the last 16 years and that Soludo won’t be a failure to ndi Anambra.

   He also noted that the present administration constructed Isseke-Mbosi Road, Oluoha-Ihiala Road and a host of other roads but urged ndi Ihiala to be hopeful that the in-coming governor will perform better in accordance with the manifesto of the All Progressives Grand Alliance.
