ADC urges FG to release Nnamdi Kanu



…Unveils ‘Umunna Revolution’

AFRICAN Democratic Congress ( ADC) has mapped out a strategic way called ” Umunna Revolution” to bring good governance to ndi Anambra and to bring government close to the people.

 This was disclosed at Marble Arch Hotel, Awka, during an interactive session with journalists.

  Unveiling the Umunna campaign, the flag bearer, Akachukwu Nwamkpu said, ‘Umunna’  is a way of infusing unity, peace by bringing governance down to the people, family, government anywhere and everywhere.

 Mr Nwankpo, who spoke through publishing director of his campaign team, Chuma Odili said,  growing insecurity is as a result of non – inclusive governance, noting that when governance touches everywhere in the land, anarchy, crime, will reduce.

 National chairman of the campaign, Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu said it is a democratic governance using a different part to meet ‘umunna’. He used the opportunity to call on federal government to release Nnamdi Kalu and strike a proper negotiating dialogue, adding that ndi Igbo is being marginalised, that the federal government is unjust in the way south east is being treated.

  Nwosu maintained that there should be dialogue to bring peace “when something is wrong in the family we seek dialogue, “he concluded.

  Secretary of the campaign movement,  Anthony Egbo stated that umunna ideology  cuts across religion, assuring that politics has divided the state, ensuring that the ADC government will make sure everybody is linked to the government, by creating equal right, direct government, connection to Umunna and all.
