Igwe Oraukwu gives mother befitting burial

IT WAS a great moment when the people of Oraukwu, in Idemili North Local Government Area and well-wishers gathered recently to accord last respect to the  late Ma Edith Onuorah.

  Until her death, Ma Onuorah, who died at the age of 84 was the mother of the traditional ruler of Oraukwu, devoted Christian, philanthropist and a community leader.

  The traditional ruler of Oraukwu, Igwe Emeka Onuorah, while interacting with newsmen said his mother was a nice and caring woman who believed that good name is better than wealth and nurtured her children to toe good steps.

  He described death as inevitable to all mortals, advising Christians to repent to secure heaven.

  Commiserating with the family, the president general of the community, Okwudili Ejidike, eulogised the deceased, saying that  she lived an exemplary life , charging the children to sustain her legacies.
