Soludo’s victory: Ndi Igbo have done it again – Okechukwu

APPRECIATION has continued to flow over the solidarity vote given to Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo in the just concluded November gubernatorial polls in Anambra State.

 To this end,  an Nnewi North Local Government political chieftain and an APGA stakeholder, Obinna Okechukwu, described the  gesture by ndi Anambra as a mark of oneness ndi Igbo were known for from ages.

 Okechukwu expressed joy that ndi Anambra, despite the uncertainty that surrounded the polls’ conduct gave the mandate to an already God chosen leader, Prof C. C Soludo.

   The NASPA Chairman lauded Governor Willie Obiano, who left no stone unturned to bring another achiever in leadership. He said that APGA had since its inception been attracting massive votes from the Igbo race and beckoned on other Igbo states to showcase such solidarity for APGA candidates in order to complete the agenda in five Igbo speaking states during elections.

  He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for their courage to conduct the scheduled election in November, despite the  cloudy and shaky atmosphere.

  He commended the law enforcement agencies for good job done hence no violence was reported.

  He finally commended the candidates that could not make it, especially those who congratulated the winner, Prof. Soludo and described that gesture as visible display of maturity and spirit of sportsmanship which is highly befitting to ndi Igbo.
