Obiano’s aides mark end of year

Anambra State Governor’s aides in the  Ministry of Agriculture, weekend, marked end of year and celebration of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA)’s victory in the November 6 guber election.

 Commissioner for Agriculture, Nnamdi Onukwuba, while speaking at the event,expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life, saying, ” it’s commendable for political appointees who have brought themselves together to organise an end of the year party cum celebration of APGA’s victory in November 6 election. This is the first time I am seeing political appointees under a particular ministry come together, contribute  and invite friends and well wishers to celebrate with them and also give awards to deserving aides of  Governor Willie Obiano.

  “We thank God for the peace witnessed during the election in Anambra State and pray for the governor of the state, Dr. Willie Obiano, the governor- elect, Prof Charles Soludo and his deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu  Ibezim”.

  The Special Assistant to the Governor on Agriculture, Emeka Odukwe, described the event as a great one and worth celebrating. “We are thanking God for good health and life throughout the year.”

  Special recognitions were given to outstanding personalities for their contributions. Among the awardees were, Anambra State Head of Service,  Chief Harry Udu,  Commissioner for Agriculture, Chief Nnamdi Onukwuba, former Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr Afam Mbanefo ,  Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture, Mr Paul Nwosu , Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Mrs Stephanie Keri-Uzor,   Others were; SPC IFAD-VCDP, Sir Nnamdi Agwuncha, MD/CEO    ANPC, Sir Chuka Nnabuife, Project Manager ADP, Mr Jude Nwankwo, SPC FADAMA, Mr Chux Egbueh ,  Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Lands, Mr Ejike Uzochukwu, Permanent Secretary, Trade and Commerce, Ike Chinedu,  Sir Romanus Egba,  Emeka Odukwe and Mrs Theresa Udemezue Okoye
