Anambra monarchs receive Obiano’s Christmas largesse

Traditional rulers in Anambra State have received their own share of bags of rice from Governor Willie Obiano.

The traditional rulers made their feelings known shortly after receiving their own share of bags of rice among other largesse at Government House, Awka.

The traditional rulers, who expressed satisfaction with the giant developmental strides of Governor Obiano also thanked him for remembering the royal fathers this Yuletide, praying God to bless and keep him safe with his family.

The traditional ruler of Enugwu Ukwu,Igwe Raph Ekpe, that of Uke in Idemili North LGA, Igwe Charles Agbala, Deputy Chairman, Anambra North Traditional Rulers Council, Igwe Benjamin Okeji, Igwe Felix Maduka of Isulo,Igwe Conel Onebunne from Akwaihedi and Igwe Nnewi ,Igwe Kenneth Orizu pledged their unalloyed support to the present and incoming administration.

Others like Igwe Peter ilomuanya of Utu in Nnewi South LGA, Igwe Romanus Nkala of Amaetiti in Orumba North LGA, expressed joy for the Christmas largesse, describing Governor Willie Obiano as a governor that knows the heart desires of the kings in the state.

igwe Sylvester Nnose of Ifite Anam, the traditional ruler of Umuoba Anam in Anambra East LGA,Igwe George Ekwealor and his Ukwalla counterpart ,Igwe Joseph Ajodo extolled Governor Obiano for dolling out the largesse to the traditional rulers and seized the opportunity to commend him for building and commissioning the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport, Umueri, to the admiration of ndi Anambra and the World at large.

The traditional rulers futher prayed for smooth Yuletide in all communities in the state . They promised continued fight against illicit drugs and cultism in their different communities and wished the citizenry happy Christmas and prosperous New year .
