Anambra hosts first East Chella event

It was a night of joy, laughter and fun as popular musicians – Phyno and Theresa Onuora thrilled fun lovers in Anambra at the first East Chella event

The event, held on Sunday, was hosted by the Board of Trustees of Transformation Ambassadors Commercial & Contracts (TACC)
and Ministry of Diaspora Affairs, Culture and Tourism, Anambra State, at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square Awka.

Senior special Adviser to Anambra State Governor, Dr. Willie Obiano on Youth Mobilisation,and General manager (TACC), Queen Cynthia Azubuogu, expressed joy over what she called a dream come true.
” I am very happy that Anambra people are proud of East Chella.”

Project Manager, East Chella, Jasmine Ogechi Azubuogu, said that East Chella was created to foster social ties in the Southeast, promote business, fashion, music, culture, arts, tours and the eastern vibes of ndi Igbo.
” I am happy we achieved it and thanks to each and everyone that came to have fun with us.

Anambra born comedian, Sobechukwu Ebubechukwu, popularly known as (Ogbuefi I go talk main market man), said , “the event is wonderful, the audience are lively and it’s also a privilege for us to witness such event. I am rating East Chella as the best among other festivals which i have attended and performed.”

Ebubechukwu also appreciated the organisers saying, “kudos to TACC and the organisers and I believe that the incoming governor- elect, Prof. Charles Soludo will look into the entertainment industry”.

The event was graced by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation (ANPC), Publisher of National Light, Ka O Di Taa, SportslightXTRA and Homeland, Sir Chuka Nnabuife, among other stakeholders.

Up coming comediane and musicians were also present.
