Chinenyenwa, Ikenna joined in matrimony

IT wAS celebration galore at the wedding/traditional marriage of Bethel Chinenyenwa Ezeuko and Cyril Ikenna Izundu, both of Aguluezechukwu, in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State.

  The event attracted dignitaries from all walks of life.

  In his homily during the wedding Mass, officiated by many priests at St Peter’s Catholic Church, Aguluezechukwu, Rev. Fr. Efobi, among many things called on the couple to remember God  in everything they do. He also admonished them to tolerate each other, overlook certain things and move together for a peaceful and successful marriage.

 The reception/traditional marriage which took place at Ichie Godwin Ezeuko (Oyinatumban’Aguluezechukwu)’s  compound, Enugwu Village, Aguluezechukwu, was grand.

  The father of the bride, Ichie Ezeuko expressed his thanks to God for the union. Showing his delight, he gave his blessings to his daughter and son in-law as he said: “l thank God for this great occasion. You should always have fear of God for your union to remain blessed. May God bless you with children, sons and daughters that will look after you in your old age. You will live to see your grand and great grandchildren.”

  On their parts, the parents of the bridegroom, Mr and Mrs Cyril lzundu, together with Lolo Ngozi Ezeuko, in their different interviews, expressed their joy for the event, even as they urged their children, the new couple to always commit their marriage in the hands of the Lord, adding  that in doing so, they will attract God’s grace in their lives. 

  In his vote of thanks, the bridegroom, Cyril Ikenna Izundu praised God for making the event a success. He thanked all for celebrating with them as he wished them journey mercies to their various destinations.

  Dignitaries that graced the occasion included Igwe Felix Eberendu (Igwe Nnanyelugo of Aguluezechukwu) and  his cabinet, among others.
