Obigwe, fmr COOU VC, others list expectations from Soludo’s administration

FORMER Anambra State Accountant General, Hillary Obigwe has expressed delight in the quantum leap recorded by the immediate past administration of Governor Willie Obiano.

  Mr. Obigwe in a press statement after the commissioning of the International Convention Centre in Awka, expressed delight that the ambitious project has enhanced the socio-economic profile of the state.

 He expects the Professor Chukwuma Soludo administration to surpass the achievements of the Obiano administration to move the state to enviable heights.

  Another award recipient and the former Vice Chancellor of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Professor Fidelis Okafor expressed joy on his recognition by the Obiano administration and expects that the Soludo administration will improve on his track records.

  In a remark, the former Special Assistant to Obiano on Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Mrs. Vera Okonkwo, who bagged Governor Obiano’s State Commander Award appreciated the gesture and expects Professor Soludo to consolidate on his achievements.

  In their separate reactions, the state organising secretary of APGA, Mr. Anthony Nwakile commended Obiano’s recognition of one time Minister of Health, Dr. Tim Menakaya as an award winner while the State President of the Ohaneze Ndigbo, Prince Emeka Udodeme appreciated the inauguration of the ICC in Awka as a worthwhile project.

  On their separate commendation remarks, the Transition Committee Chairman for Ihiala Local Government Area, Callistus Obi and his Orumba South counterpart, Mr. Cyprian Okereke showered encomiums on Governor Obiano for writing his name in gold through the actualisation of the International Convention Centre which will enhance the revenue profile of the state.
