According to the governor, not only does his blueprint cut across every sector, he also fully understands where the state is headed in the coming years.

Gov. Soludo also explained that he knew the resources were paltry before applying for the job.

“Anambra has all the potential, but also equally matched with the challenges. But we are undaunted, as I said in my inaugural speech. And given the available resources that we have, we’re going to explore all kinds of creative means of revenues beyond the usual, so to speak, to be able to collect revenues to do these things. We’ll get water out of stone, with the people working with us, mobilising with us,” he said.

Explaining that he had already hit the ground running, Soludo assured that the next four years will show that he made good his plans, because there will be no time to waste.

“We have four years to do this. And actually, it’s three years and eight months, that’s why we are not going to miss any one minute. But for me, I’m just waiting on the list of commissioners which has got to the state legislature and hopefully in very soon we’ll begin to work. And once they give me an approval for the commissioners, we hit the road, but even in-between that, things will happen,” he continued.

It will be recalled that Gov. Soludo had submitted a list of 20 commissioner-nominees for the approval of Anambra State House of Assembly on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Gov. Soludo has been commended for starting well.

The commendation was made by Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) in a statement issued by the company to express its gratitude to the governor for fulfilling his promises of choosing his official cars from Innoson brands.
