ANAMBRA State Head of Service (HOS), Theodora Igwegbe has assured civil servants of training and retraining in Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
The HOS gave the assurance to staff of Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs during her farmiliarisation tour to the ministry.
The HOS, who commended the workers friendly governor ,Charles Soludo hinted that the present administration will continue to provide conducive working environment for efficient service delivery, explained that ICT training will help the staff have access to faster, and effective communication that will increase efficiency and productivity.
She made it known that ICT training will equip staff with necessary knowledge to face great digital transformation and also charged the staff to embrace work ethics and be diligent, committed and disciplined in the discharge of their duties.
The number one civil servant encouraged them to imbibe the spirit of love, forgiveness and humility in service of God and humanity.
Responding, the permanent secretary of the ministry, Mrs Pauline Nwandu appreciated the HOS for her visit and assured her of their willingness to imbibe work ethics by being punctual to duty as well as shun lateness and lazerfare attitude to work.
The meeting featured questions and answers session. Rendering of praises and prayers formed the high point of the visit
