Soludo swears in new commissioner Ezeokenwa, three Special advisers

ANAMBRA State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo has sworn in one commissioner and three special advisers with a charge to channel their energies towards service delivery.

  The event took place at the International Convention Center, Awka.

  The four new exco members are Sly Ezeokenwa, Commissioner for Special Duties, Mr Bob-Manuel Udokwu, Special Adviser on Leisure, Entertainment and Tourism, Dr Nelson Omenugha, Special Adviser on Youth Empowerment Programme and  Tobechukwu Nweke, Special Adviser on Legal Matters.

  The governor charged them to remain committed to the task before them which is to serve the public and uphold good governance.

  He noted that they were selected for their competence to deliver in their various assignments, maintaining that he will implement his manifesto as it is his contract with the people of Anambra State to bring the desired changes.

  The governor emphasised that their appointment is a call to duty with the objective of building a livable and prosperous Anambra State.

  The event was attended by other exco members.

  Recall that Anambra State House of Assembly confirmed the appointment of Commission for Special Duties, Barr Sly Ezeokenwa during the plenary on Thursday, 21st April, 2022, following the report of the House Committee on Screening and Election Matters, presented by its Chairman, Dr Paschal Agbodike, which found him qualified to serve as a commissioner designate.
