…Youths’ll be encouraged to create positive change – Nwabunwanne

IN the spirit of ‘Heal Ihiala Project’, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation(ANPC),  ChukaNnabuife has decided to drop his ambition to the Federal House of Representatives to support Engr. EmekaOkoye, who is equally aspiring to represent Ihiala Federal Constituency in the next political dispensation.

Chief Nnabuife, who made this known at the official declaration ceremony of Engr. EmekaOkoye at Maybond Hotel, Awka, at the weekend, said his decision to withdraw from the race was borne out of his interest for the well-being of Ihiala and that Engr. EmekaOkoye also has the capacity to answer the Ihiala question correctly if elected to represent the constituency.

EmekaOkoye’s declaration ceremony was to tell APGA members and other stakeholders in Ihiala not to shortchange Osumoghu and Ubuluisiuzo, who have not tasted elective positions since the creation of Ihiala Local Government Area.

He urged the people to support Engr. EmekaOkoye and also respect the zoning formula of Ihiala which he said equity and natural justice have bestowed on Osumoghu and Ubuluisiuzo to produce the next representative from Ebonesie Zone to avoid clash of interest.

Sir Nnabuife also appealed to prospective delegates not to spoil the chances of Engr. EmekaOkoye at the primaries because he believes he has content and what it takes to lift Ihiala from her current status quo.
