ARSENAl manager, Mikel Arteta, has signed another contract that will keep him in charge of the Premier League club from North London until 2025.

Speaking after putting pen to paper in a brief ceremony in The Emirates, Arteta said he wants to take Arsenal to the “next level” after signing a new contract that will keep him at the Premier League club.

“We want to take the club to the next level and to compete really with the top teams. In order to do that, we have to be playing in the Champions League. We have to be able to evolve the team, improve our players, improve all departments, generate even more connections with our fans, improve the atmosphere at the Emirates, and be able to recruit top, top talent and the best people for this club to drive this project to that level,” ,” he said.

The 40-year-old, who took over at the Emirates in December 2019, following the dismissal of Unai Emery, is close to leading the Gunners back into the Champions League after a five-year absence.

Similarly, Arsenal Women’s coach Jonas Eidevall also put pen to paper on a new deal after an impressive first season in London, in which he has taken the Women’s Super League title challenge all the way to the final weekend.

It will be recalled that Arsenal are fourth in current Premier League table, two points clear of north London rivals Tottenham with four games to go.
