Criminals on rampage in S’East not activists – Soludo

GOVERNOR of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, has traced rising violence in South-East to activities of criminals operating under the guise of militant agitators also known as unknown gunmen.

  Gov. Soludo stated this while addressing aspirants for various elective positions for the 2023 general election on All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA)’s ticket in Governor’s Lodge, Awka, yesterday.

  Explaining that terror activities differ from other forms of political agitation, the governor also said that security challenges confronting the state were being “perpetrated by criminals who have now engaged in kidnapping, killing and another manner of criminalities as a lucrative enterprise.”
