Anambra accommodates all faiths – Soludo

GOVERNOR of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has emphasised that Anambra has always been peaceful home to all faiths.

  The governor stated this while receiving members of Anambra Muslim community who paid him a courtesy visit in Government House, Awka, yesterday.

  Describing ndi Anambra as accommodating and peace loving people, Gov. Soludo reassured the delegation of the security of every law-abiding person and group living in the state, adding that the current insecurity in some locations will soon be over.

  Gov. Soludo also reiterated his administration’s preparedness to partnering with resourceful and well-meaning individuals in the government’s new socio-economic development agenda, irrespective of religious or ethnic affiliations.

  The governor, therefore, called on members of Anambra Muslim community to remain law abiding and continue to synergise with government in building a livable and prosperous homeland where everybody’s legitimate business will prosper.

  Earlier while introducing his members to the governor, leader of the delegation, Alhaji Abdulrahim Suberu said the Muslim community in Anambra State sent them to show their solidarity and support to the state government.

  Suberu also commended Gov. Soludo’s strategic approach to solving security challenges in the state.
